Hi, we are Kookaburra Cottage Quilts design company. For over 10 years we have been designing and producing quality patterns for the patchwork and quilting industry.

Welcome to our website. We have updated our stock list, and added some kits – there will be more to come in the following months – so keep an eye out. We are still working on getting everything flowing smoothly. Please contact us if you need clarification on anything.

We specialize in country style quilt designs, that are easy to make, using simple piecing and applique styles. All our designs are suitable for beginners to advanced quilters. We pride ourselves on our easy to follow patterns, and feel each pattern offers value for money.

Our most popular patterns are our series of children’s Block of the Month designs. Mother Goose, Little Macca, and Noah & Friends have been extremely popular, and shops have been very successful when running these programs in their shop.

We are extremely pleased to present our first Block of the Month with Fabric – ‘My Menagerie’

The advance in availability of quality packages of fabrics has been very exciting for us. We have designed some patterns to enhance the ‘Layer Cake’ & ‘Jelly Rolls’ available from Moda. These make great quilts, are easy to kit, and affordable for the consumer.
